Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy suffered an apparent shoulder injury in the first quarter of Kansas City’s season-opening showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday. Worthy headed to the locker room shortly after the play.
Worthy’s injury occurred when he and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce collided on simultaneous crossing routes across the middle of the field. The Chiefs announced on social media Worthy is questionable to return to the game.
