Despite James’ historically sub-par performance, the Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors 123-120 after James dished out the game-winning assist to Rui Hachimura, who hit a buzzer-beating three. The win improves Los Angeles’ record to 15-5 and keeping the Lakers in second place in the Western Conference. The last time James was held to single digits on the scoreboard was on Jan. 5, 2007. On that day, the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Milwaukee Bucks on the road by a score of 95-86, but James scored only eight points in that game in 42 minutes of action.
